Se mi lasci ti cancello

Oggi vorrei dire due parole su un film che ho visto solo di recente: Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind conosciuto in Italia col titolo da commediola romantica Se mi lasci ti cancello (sigh!)

Perché ne voglio parlare?! Perché tra tutti i filmetti che esaltano l'amore romantico come il massimo a cui una persona può aspirare questo è forse il più terribile che ho visto.

Scusate se farò spoiler, ma il film è uscito da almeno 10 anni perciò ritengo siamo in zona safe altrimenti chiudete il post adesso.

Trama: un tizio incontra una tizia e su un treno attaccano bottone. Solo alla fine scopriremo che questo è il loro secondo incontro e i due erano già stati insieme e si erano lasciati in maniera piuttosto definitiva. Ma si sa, quando l'amore è vero... ma è amore questa roba?

Durante il film i due "innamorati" non fanno che dare prova di quanto non siano in sintonia su nessun argomento, non fanno che litigare e rinfacciarsi ogni sorta di cattiveria e meschinità. E alla fine prima lei e poi lui scelgono di cancellare l'altro dalla propria memoria.

Eppure alla fine del film gli eventi ci lasciano intendere che loro due siano fatti davvero l'uno per l'altra. Non importa quante offese e cattiverie si siano vomitati addosso, non importa il fatto che non abbiano nemmeno gli stessi progetti per il futuro (lei vuole figli ma lui non li vuole da lei), non importa quanto, molto probabilmente, sarebbero meno infelici non dico da soli (non sia mai) ma con qualcun altro. Il film ci suggerisce che alla fine di tutte le loro vicissitudini i due torneranno a stare (in)felici insieme.

Quanto può essere dannosa l'amatonormatività di questa società se ci propina come romantico lo stare con qualcuno con cui non abbiamo niente in comune?!? Anzi no, qualcosa su cui sembrano andare d'accordo c'è ed è il sesso. Le cose importanti, insomma.

So che il cinema e la letteratura e la musica campano di amore tra uomo e donna, ma almeno dateci storie in cui i due stanno insieme perché si fanno felici, non perché piuttosto che stare da soli meglio stare con qualcuno che odi.

Ma che schifo!
